I want to assign a provider to a specific code- so that every time we check an appointment out, we don't have to change the exam from the hygienist to the dentist (seeing as the rest of the appointment needs to be assigned to the hygienist)- but exams will always be assigned to the dentist since she is the only one licensed to do it. I was hoping I'd be able to do it through editing a procedure code... and was told the only way is through setting it up with continueing care- but limited exams and such aren't going to ever be set up. And we have a specific code that gets billed to insurance for PPE and is assigned to a "dummy" provider - it would be really nice to assign this PPE code to automatically be assigned to the dummy provider vs changing it everytime! -CK
