We just updated from G5 to G7. In G5 we could adjust the Provider for procedures at any time after they were completed. All the providers in our practice are paid based off of production, so that is a useful way to track production by provider. With G7, You cannot change the provider once the insurance claim has been created. I'm not sure why this was changed, but makes it a real hassle because now, we have to wait for the manager to change all the providers to create/submit insurance claims. Can this get changed back to the G5 way so there is no limitation as to when the provider can be changed?
