Display Operatory Name/Title at top of operatory

Provide an option to display the Operatory Name/Title at the top of each operatory in the Appointment Book rather than the Operatory ID; and still allow the user to change the name of the operatory.

Can we show both Op ID's AND Name Titles in a future Dentrix update?

This change of operatory names would be great!! It looks like it was a brought to their attention on July 9, 2019... hopefully they're working on it.

Just spent over 30 minutes on phone with rep (foreign speaking) who was unable to understand my question regarding displaying operatory titles as opposed to ID on schedule. I hope this is implemented soon.

I was just trying to change the names of our operatories to the provider, rather than numbered ops. Has this option been implemented yet?

Would be nice ... I use Eaglesoft as well and it makes things a lot easier when scheduling with different providers working different days of the week.

Take away the alpha numeric default for when op names are assigned form the defaults"OP01, etc..." and when you do adjust in to not be alpha numeric and put it in the order as needed for your office with provider names  at the top.  Also be able to make the adjustments to the operatories so they will print in the correct order assigned not alpha numeric.

Please list the operatory name and assistant name and allow the user to change the name of the operator.

In Office Manager | Maintenance | Practice Setup | Practice Resource Setup, in the Operatories section, when you click Edit, there is a spot for an Operatory Title. It sounds like you secondary suggestion would be to have that title display on the schedule either underneath or in-place-of the Operatory ID. Just so you know, support can assist you in changing the four-digit Operatory ID. They will run a utility which does require all users to exit Dentrix while it runs.

I do know the setups as well as the ability to change names w/support assistance and perhaps I should have worded this better. Yes absolutely...I do not believe that offices would not have nearly as much of an issue with the actual names of the ops IF...we could have perhaps a secondary box underneath the name to type in any name they want to have there be it a provider name or an operatory name. ie: I trained a pedo office that each of thier ops were named disney characters. Would be nice for them to be able to have that secondary name if you will since even now with supports help - it would still go in alpha/numeric order which is not always the way an office would like to see thier appt book lined up. Other issue still goes back to staff turnover as well.

Ryan, I attempted this but it did not change the title on the Appointment Book. What I am looking for is for each Op to have its Operatory Title listed on the Appointment Book. Having a provider name associated with the operatory is also great idea listed below.

We need this! We have 11 ops and 8 people to keep track of. It would be nice to right click on the tab (xxx1, xxx2, xxx3, etc and change it to the name we need) like we do on Excel.

I love the idea of having the Operatory title show on the appt. book. I find it silly to have the option to put in a title of operatory when setting up but it doesn't even display in the appointment book

We need the Operatory Title to appear in the appointment book. It is very helpful for staff reference and the info is in practice resource setup...why can't it be visible!?!?!?!
