Softdent does this and Dentrix presently does not do this. It is a one click button (PDMP button) that shows you all RX's a patient has been prescribed by any doctor, the quantity, where filled and what Dr. Prescribed. This allows you to easily check to see if a patient has a drug problem. This is required in South Carolina. Dentrix's button only shows rx's prescribed by their software. This does not help.

When I connect to ePrescribe, it downloads all of the patient's previous prescriptions by any provider into my Dentrix Rx screen after I close out of ePrescribe. I have to then click on "new" and then "cancel" before the prescriptions show up however.
