We suggest adding an area to add general notes about patient that will not show up on the printed route slip. For example, noting the patient is going on vacation in Jan as a reminder to the provider to ask about the vacation. These types of notes should not be in clinical notes or a patient alert nor do we want these to print on the route slip.

i agree and believe the best way to do this is to make another tab in chart (like image tab and progress note tab) and call it "personal notes" and be able to add a date and templates**
