Sometimes a patient moves away and is archived. Then a friend living here is referred to us by that patient but we can't list them as the referral without unarchiving their file which we don't ever want to do...so the patient referral is left blank. We're not going to go unarchive a patient, go list them on another patient's referral, and then go back to re-archive them. It's ridiculous. There's no common sense or dental experience driving the techs for this software. Everything has to be done manually...the recall, the treatment planning, the insurance downgrades, the referrals, the archives, the ledger, the journal, the phone calls and on and on. Arrrrrgh!
