When adding treatment into the chart, allow to have 4 or more canals for the molars. Currently it is switching from 4 canals, to 3 automatically, which affects the price and insurance ; therefore causing giving the wrong price to the patient. We often find 4 canals in the tooth while completing treatment and do not want to surprise the patient with extra cost.
Hi, we are facing the same issue in 2023. I see posts from 2020. Any solution to this yet?
Same issue here with molars, as well as a 14 ended up only being 1 canal but dentrix makes me bill a 2 canal. I do not want to bill patient for a untreated canal.
Any resolution to this yet?
Agree.. Given that >95% of upper first molars have 4 canals this seems like an issue in obvious need of fixing
I am having this problem as well. Even if I override is in the treatment plan when I set complete it changes back to a 3 canal. How do I fix this?
Same issue we are having today, can not bill code for 4 canal root canal in any of the codes. It auto defaults to 3 canals. Must be an update that changed this.
