Sometimes the month closes out automatically on the weekend and if a patient made a payment after hours before the month closes out. Sometimes the payment doesn't get allocated properly and we have to make adjustments, but once the month is closed, we can't go back in and adjust it.

I agree! I wish there was a feature where we could allocate to the correct provider once the month-end closes.
