Depending on each practice's demographic; providers may use different information when looking up patients. Our office typically uses cell phone numbers to communicate with our patients and find our patient's aren't using home phones as often. We would find it beneficial to be able to edit what information we can use to look up patients by rather than the programmed first/last name, home phone, social, chart # etc.
