Would like to be able to send billing statements, walkout statements, day sheets, appointment reminders, treatment plans, tooth chart, perio chart, insurance claims, prescriptions and any other necessary forms via e-mail. [5546]
We should be able to email patients their receipts- this is a common practice in professional services(chrio, massage, physio,etc),even in retail stores. This should be available in 2025 as everything is digital. Cost(paper and ink) and time savings. We currently have multiple steps to send by email, when I think we should have one button for it.
Researching since 2019 and still no change, why do you even have this form for suggestions, you never seem to do anything with it. The ability to email information to patients in this day and age is so rudimentary and patient's expect to be able to get receipts electronically so they can submit to their HSA/Flex administrators. It costs me 78cents to mail a receipt. You've been researching and yet we still can't do it.
Regarding insurance claims, we need to send the complete claim with attachments to the ins company's appeal company, like P&R. This will save us a LOT of time and headaches if it is one button. It will also help make sure the quality of images is good enough for the reviewer to see the same subtle things that the doctor sees in the office. This has become a problem lately as we are getting a lot of rejections for tooth buildups and SRP's.
Any updates?... We need this to be able to send perio charts for Perio Protect. We have to print the perio charts, and then scan them into our computers again when we should be able to just email them from Dentrix. PLEASE get this updated!
I completely agree! Prior to the G4 update, we were able to "export" the treament plans as a PDF, but after the update that was lost. That worked great because I could save it to the hard drive and then email it or whatever. So if we could get that back, and do the same for all the other things listed, it would be awesome!
I requested the same thing but specifically for email purposes w/ the ability for online payment as well. Think of the time/money saved by our offices plus the added convenience for our patients.

I often have patients ask to have their walkout sent via email. Now the only way to do that is to print it, scan it in and email it.

any form can be chosen to "print as PDF" or BullZip. The document can be saved onto your desktop and then emailed. This has been around forever.

Yep! Everything paper should be updated to fit the modern world and patient demands. What we really want to do is burn this computer. lol
With so many Dentrix applications "e" (electronic), so should the walkout, payment, treatment plan etc. Thanks!
