Pop-Up alerts attached to insurance plans.

ins. plan info area alerts should be able to be attached to group so it is not necessary to attach Patient or Family Alerts to each persons info. Such as fee schedule or 100% 1st recall and 50% 2nd recall of the year or a phrase that needs attached for certain insurance cos. Some groups have 100 to 300 people attached so 1 alert would be fabulous to do.

I agree- a pop up alert associated with the ins policy would then appear on all those patients who have that plan. HUGE timesaver!!

Must agree with the May comments, the notes section is spectacular and we use it, however....there needs to be an option to apply a POP UP that alerts for all patients attached to the same plan without having to write it over and over again (just to undo it over and over again). For example: We are about to transition out of network with an ins co, coverage tables differ for some group plans in or out of network. Once our contract ends we will need to update the ones that change. As of now we are listing the change(s) in the notes section, but then to cover our butts we are putting a pop up on the patients. If we were able to alert by the plan, the first patient would trigger the update, it would affect all patients tied, and we'd delete pop up...done. Please don't take away the notes section but add the option to tie a pop up to an insurance plan (like you can multiple family members!)

Please explain how to do this if this really has been released. I don't believe that it has. Maybe you are not understanding what we are looking for? We would like to be about to create a "Patient Alert" for all of the patients that have a particular insurance plan. For Instance, all of the patients that have a Medicare insurance plan would have a "Patient Alert" that states an ABN needs to be signed at the appointment. Currently, we have to add that to each patient individually versus adding it to the insurance plan and having that attach an alert to all of the patients.

This was a terrible update. it should be a pop up alert not a musical note in the family file.

This is becoming more important all the time. Insurance companies are making it ever more difficult to know the limitations, clauses, etc to not pay for something It would be VERY helpful to have pop-ups to flag policies for important need to know information.

Some insurance contracts are incentive plans with increasing coverage each year patient is active on their recall program. The insuance coverage window needs to at least note that benefit, or better yet, find a way to show levels of each patient on such a contract.

PLEASE CREATE THIS in an update! SOON!!!! We physically cannot keep track of the uniqueness of insurance contracts!!!!!! I get that it's a patient's responsiblity to know their contract, but what great service we could provide if we have the information at our fingertips!

Would be great for carrier wide items like Bwx and Fmx frequencies are combined, D1206 not covered for any BC/BS plans, need pre-d for SRP, Posterior resins are Not downgraded, pays on prep date/seat date, recalls must be 6 months apart instead of 2/yr anytime.

I agree. Another example is insurance pays at seat date. We don't file claims for seat date since its a no charge visit. We need to know when we need to submit the seat date. THANKS!
