I've thought the same thing multiple times...we could definitely use more. By itemizing our adjustment types we know better where our write off's come from. We adjust for family, incorrectly billed treatment, charity, payment in full courtesy discount...and it's nice to know where that money is going!!! More adjustment types would be fantastic!

There are only 40 adjustment types right now. There should be endless i.e. I make a DED 2011 etc. for every year to decifer which year deductible it is. When I am trying at this point to change from a previously used one, the warning comes up that suggests that it will change all previous to the new one so basically it will change DED99 to DED2012, not good :( Please allow me to to make new adjustments types, more than 40.

Yes, we definitely need to increase the limit on Adjustment Types!

It is so frustrating when you need to do something in Dentrix and you cant. With all of the advertising and marketing out there like yelp, groupon, facebook, google, etc. we need to be able to track where our adjustments are coming from. This should be fixed asap. Why is there even a limit?

Oh my. So true. Please fix this ASAP. We can't track our ppo insurance write offs because there are no more adjustment types left to add. Even some of the free dental softwares allow you to have the ability to add more adjustment types than Dentrix.

Effective operation of my practice requires accurate tracking of discounts, write-offs and other adjustment types and, the limit on adjustment types to no more than 40 no longer meets my needs. The request to increase the limit on Adjustment Types to more than 40 was first communicated through myvoice.dentrix.com in October, 2009 when G4 was the most up to date version of Dentrix and, a software update to accomodate this request has not yet been made available with the G5 software upgrade. Would Dentrix please respond to whether Dentrix can have the limit on adjustment types increased to more than 40 and if so, when can we expect the software update?

This is definitely a must!! We need to track where our adjustments and write offs go. This should be a top priority!

PLEASE allow more than 40 adjustment types!!! Dentrix users have been asking since 2009. Many reasons why the increase in adj types is necessary. Please add to the Dentrix G6?? Thank you!

We need this functionality as well! I am constantly trying to get "creative" on what I can post on the ledger and on statements all the while being descriptive on what the adjustment is for.

We have been on Dentrix for many years and have used all 40 available adjustments codes. And of course, once one is used, you should not change what it is for!!!!!! There are many dentists who are joining as "participating dentists" in several different insurance plans. We would like to be able to keep each adjustment we have to do for each insurance company separate, so on our monthly reports and year-end reports, we can view just how much we have adjusted off from each insurance company. Could you please give additional adjustment types - maybe another 5 or 10, so there is the ability to have 45 or 50? It's not that we participate in that many plans, but as I stated before, we have been on this software since 1999 and over the years have used up all forty!

I wish there were more than 40 adjustment types under adjustments. Under normal circumstances 40 would probably be more than enough, but in our office all 40 were set up before my doctor bought the practice and some of them were set up incorrectly. Now I dont have a way to set them up correctly because all 40 have been used SOMEWHERE in SOMEONE's chart and they can't be corrected because it would make dentrix unstable. If there were more than the original 40 I could at least set up new ones. Just a thought
