In box 48 - 52a. of the ADA Claim form we need a way to remove the "Billing Dentist or Dental Entity." The claim form states, "(Leave Blank if the denitst or billing entity is not submitting the claim on behalf of the patient or insured/subscriber.)". We have numerous patients that we collect up front and then hand the claim form to them so that they can file on their own.
The easiest way to do this is to add a <NONE> feature in the Ledger > Claim > Billing Provider > Select Provider window. This <NONE> feature is the same one we see in the Fee Schedules for the Family File and would take the place of listing the Type I or Type II NPI data. Thank you for considering this change.
