Root tips as a condition

We want to be able to add root tips as a condition for charting purposes. Also need a graphic for it. This would enable us to have a more complete picture of the patients mouth.

Any updates on having this option added? I can put "non fuctioning tooth" but that doesn't really give an accurate description. Who do we need to contact to make this happen, if it hasn't already (I'm currently still searching for the option, if it has been set up already and just not added to my computer/update yet, please excuse me). Thank you.

We used to have a code for missing crown of the tooth but I do not remember if it was a in office code or was ada code

I would love to see retained root tip added as it would make our charting more correct and that is very important in treatment and treatment planning

    This is a need, not a want...please

This NEEDS to be an option--I am a RDH at a Periodontist's office, and we rely on accurate dental charting for treatment plans. PLEASE modify your charting ability, Dentrix, for this to be a possibility! (broken off/lost tooth crowns with retained root tips--PLEASE!)

it says that our feedback is appreciated and yet it has been over 3 years since this was requested and nothing has been done about it. Apparently Dentrix does not understand the GRAVE importance of how a chart needs to ACCURATELY reflect the situation in the mouth. Root tips are neither a whole tooth or a missing tooth as has been previously pointed out. It is ESSENTIAL to be able to show that there is no crown of the tooth, that there are just root tips where there used to be a tooth. THIS CANNOT BE A DIFFICULT THING TO CHANGE..

WE need to be able to chart exiting residual root tips or grossly carious root tips. What about findings on CBCT , remaining root tips from a previous EXT, or pathology?  Dentrix we are waiting for this update, other powerful dental software programs are already doing this and with the GP now utilizing CBCT more we need to be able to incorporate these findings.

This has been a suggested change, it's listed under root tips as conditions, please add your vote to the suggestion already in place.

Would like graphic in chart to show as actual retained root not missing or as a whole tooth. Thanks!

Easy to program - just remove the crown from the root in the graphic!

Desperate need, we see it a lot in our clinic and have no way to chart correctly.
