Add the ability to send Mass Text Messages to patients (Also individual text messages)
Send out a Mass Text to patients.
This would be helpful to keep the schedule full throughout the day. We could use this feature to send out to patients as soon as we have a cancelation and or an opening in the schedule.
Ex: " we have an opening today to see Dr. at . If you are interested please call asap to schedule.
We are a pediatric office so it would be nice to put Your child is due to see Dr. We have an opening today at . To insure this appointment time please call asap to schedule.
Individual text messages would be nice too.
Yes! I love this idea; it looks like this has been an ongoing request. We can only send an email and not everyone checks their email as often. We recently contracted with Dentrix and this is one option we would love! It would help fill our schedules quickly and help with last minute openings! Texting is an immediate form of communication to help our practices and schedule patients in asap!
Yes, being able to send a mass text to patients that you can customize would be amazing! I was super disappointed to learn that Patient Engage does not have this feature.. as Solution Reach does.

It would be nice to do instant messages to any patient of record with a mobile phone at anytime rather than just automated. Like when we send texts from our own phones. That way you could send a text to an individual like a personal test message.
We think that if we had the option to text patients that do not have scheduled appointments, it would be beneficial to our office. A lot of people can text on their phone at work, but cannot answer a phone call.
It would be very helpful if we could communicate by text with patients without appointments or appointments schedule further out than two weeks. We want to primarily use this to contact patients to fill openings in our schedule.
Texting is our most successful way to immediately communicate with our patients. If a patient does not have a scheduled appointment, a text message cannot be sent. Consequently, a fake appointment has to be scheduled to send a text, which results in a confirmation text and an annoyed patient who calls to say he doesn't have an appointment. Demandforce had this feature. I miss it a lot. I am sorry that I left them for Dentrix. It was a step BACKWARDS!
