I highly advise setting up a preference option to default "Un-Check" the "apply to payment agreement," box. When we have ortho patients signed into a payment agreement (who are also seen for regular check ups), if they owe a difference for their check up that payment gets applied to their ortho payment agreement without warning and ultimately changes the next few charges to random amounts. It reflects poorly on the office when that happens because at the end of the agreement they end up owing money in both accounts when they shouldn't.

We need this change asap please !!! Accounts are being messed up for our ortho patients , because of this issue and when working with multiple people in the front especially when busy it can easily be FORGOTTEN to be unchecked !
Please make changes sooner rather than later for this! We love the payment agreement option but when it defaults for the entire family for any payment for any other treatment it becomes a much larger issue.
And the only way to correct the payment once it is entered is to delete the payment and enter again making sure you uncheck the "apply to payment agreement box". so frustrating.
YES PLEASE CHANGE THIS!! Peoples payment agreements are also getting messed up because the payment agreement is being attached to other family members and when they pay, it automatically takes it off the patients agreement.
I just added this idea! PLEASE change the default dentrix. :)
