DENTRIX PAY - MULTIPLE CREDIT CARD AGREEMENTS FOR SAME FAMILY

Dentrix pay does not compare to power pay. All the features of powerpay should have been considered before forcing doctors to switch over. Dentrix pay needs to allow accounts that are set up for automatic payments to allocate the payment to the individual the payment is set up for not the head of household. We should not have to remember to remove the payment from the head of household to then allocate payment to the individuals who hold the balance.  Also, we need to be able to set up multiple payment agreements for different individuals within the same family as treatment does not always start at the same time nor does each individual family member have the same payment terms/agreement/amounts, etc.  Example: Ortho treatment for different family members who started treatment at different times & have different amounts due based on their treatment. Bottom line, automatic credit card payments should be individualized to the member in the family and their individual amount due for their individual treatment.

When choosing Split by Family Members, the split methods listed are not ones I would ever use.  FIFO??? We are not doing inventory! Equal payments? When does it ever happen that a family of 5 has the exact same balance due? Percentage? Not sure when that would ever apply.

I would like to choose family members and allocate a $ amount. For instance, total credit card payment $100.

    Patient 1: $45

    Patient 2: $20

    Patient 3: $35

Right now, the process is to post $100 to one of the patients and post subsequent adjustments to the other 2 patients. This is a complete waste of time, not to mention that all these adjustment entries are confusing to the patient when they read their statement (it's not easy for them to follow).
