When processing insurance payments for patients that are Out of Network, there sometimes can be a credit balance left on the patient's account. Keeping the ledgers clean and balanced is an every day process. With my previous credit card processing company, I could process a refund without the patient's card present and without it being saved. I realize Dentrix is capable of processing refunds however, it is for the entire payment amount. Many times the refund is less than the payment that the patient made at the time services were rendered. Please add a feature allowing this.
