Any office that wants all payments to post to the Primary Provider, which is an option to define in Dentrix Practice Preferences; all payments go to primary provider and not split by multiple providers. Then when posting a bulk payment for a family that is to post to multiple family members, Dentrix will allocate the split payment across all family members AND post to primary provider only (not split provider) as DEFINED in Practice Preferences. Currently the only option for splitting a family payment by family members is that the payment ALSO splits by provider...which is incorrect. In our office, that means Dentrix is splitting payment between the dentist (Primary provider) and the hygienist (Secondary provider)...this is INCORRECT.
