this would be a nice feature. We are currently making their name all capitalized so it draws attention to us - in preferred name we put DOD and the date - this person of course is not listed as HOH so it doesn't appear on statements
yes: this would be a v. helpful enhancement - also, when the patient's status is set to "DECEASED", the software can automatically clear all of the patient's Continuing Care types, insurance info, etc. A notation like "DECEASED" can also automatically appear someplace like "Preferred Name" field so that it prominently displays in all modules.

If the are deceased I arcive the. Only patients who are deceased should be arcived.

PLEASE!!! This would be very helpful. I have had several embarrassing moments like this as well.
