Dentrix made NON-Patients be recognized in their code as Patients! Our New Patient numbers are off! Dentrix is literally counting Non-Patients that "scheduled" a New Patient Exam as a Patient! It enters a Consent Date the day they make the appointment, even if they schedule 3 months out! Consent to WHAT? They have not even entered through our doors! If you track new patients seen by month, that month will be off if you had lots of new patients that scheduled that particular month. You have to manually clean up and remove Consent Date and adjust the "Referred By" Date. If a Non-Patient cancels their appointment in the future, you have to go to the Family File and DELETE this Non-Patient so that it does not affect your future practice numbers! Our office customized DENTRIX FORMS to send Medical History Forms to Existing Patients and another for New Patients, Dentrix Forms is sending BOTH! Dentrix NEEDS to partner with Solution Reach as they've got it figured out! PARTNER with their engineers! Dentrix messed up Solution Reach when this dumb update was done in the fall of 2025. Solution Reach's forms were going out great until Dentrix made NON-Patients be recognized in their code as Patients! The integration of medications/allergy is the only good thing, but this whole code is flawed. FIX IT!
