Hiding the notes in Claim Status, which is in Dental Insurance Claims in the ledger has been tedious and ineffective for billing, front desk tasks, and as well for the office manager. This is where we write what the patient responsibility is. When it would be pulled up, it was easily seen. We also would write notes from insurance, for example- if there was a denial on a code/service and why. This was a big form of communication for all parties. Now, it looks like nothing has been written and it causes confusion. You need to poke around in order to see notes for that date of service/services - to see if the patient owes anything or why it was not paid by insurance.
