when competing services that covered by insurance, for example, 4999.5 or 4999.6 (laser treatments) or 2991 (curodont). the fees post at $0 or another random dollar amount. this is HIGHLY inconvenient. It presents an issue where we're walking a lot of service out the door for free or constantly having to change the fee for services. Additionally, apparently, when our office mgr runs month end it resets fee to 0$ for some things. With things like 4 quads of laser, I have to change the fee 4 times because it is a per quads fee. Then I have to change it 4 more times if she runs month end before the patient comes in. And occasionally another time for whatever random reason. Leaving me to correct fees 8-12 times just for this one service. If services are not covered by ins it should just automatically reset to the office fee.
