The Dexis integrator was abruptly broken from the Dentrix software. My team is no longer able to take x-rays without a headache, and unable to properly attach x-rays to claims. Our office is immensely struggling today. This update caught us off guard. This is not right.
I would like to share some feedback regarding the latest update, as it has significantly impacted our daily workflow.
Since the update, the integration and usability with Dexis have become much less efficient. Tasks that were previously quick and straightforward now require additional steps, which slows down our clinical workflow. In particular, charting existing conditions was very simple in the previous version, but the current process feels more complicated and time-consuming.
Additionally, the claim submission process appears to have become more inefficient. What used to be a streamlined process now requires more time and navigation, which affects overall productivity at the front desk.
Overall, the update feels more like a downgrade in terms of usability and efficiency. We would greatly appreciate it if the development team could review these workflow issues and consider restoring the previous functionality or providing options that allow users to work in a more streamlined way.
Many practices rely on Dentrix for high-volume daily operations, so maintaining efficient workflows is critical for both clinical and administrative teams.
This latest update- stating Dexis integrator is being replaced with Dentrix imaging has cost us hours of time & money- not being able to take x-rays until pointing to Dexis work around-seriously Dentrix-leaving your users dead in the water without warning- this is not ideal patient care! Perhaps you should consider your clients and the impact your supposed "updates" have on their business? Dentrix imaging is far inferior, slow and brutally frustrating! Equally frustrating is Dentrix blaming Dexis and visa versa-take ownership and make it right- work together to serve those who keep you in business.
This happened to our office also. We had our IT re-integrate Dexis, but we are still unable to go into xrays in the "IMAGE" folder. We are having to click the DEXIS Icon. The Dentrix update caused it and Dentrix said that we needed to speak to Dexis. Dexis will not help unless we pay them for support.
Yes, the new imaging has been a disaster for our office, and our billers are spending double time trying to send claims. The lettering and x-ray images are SO SMALL now that some of our older employees are having a hard time. This is a major accessibility issue for this software!
