We are an office that treats many children in an out patient setting at the hospital. Dentrix will not allow claims to be sent if the place of service is "hospital" instead of "office". I have spoke to reps who have said that we just have to mail these claims. Since we have been forced to use Dentrix for claim submissions, this is frustrating since it costs us money in postage and delays treatment for these children. Our third party claims vendor had no issues with this but we have been blocked from using any outside vendor and have had to switch our claim submissions to Dentrix. It does no good if they can't provide the service we need.
